Protein Molecular Weight
The protein molecular weight is an important parameter in biochemistry. Accurate mass measurements allow the determination of the correctness of the primary amino acid sequence, the presence of mutations, post-translational modifications and possible protein degradation. We are equipped with a QExactive UHMR (ultra-high mass range) with a mass range of up to 80,000 m/z, in source trapping, ultra-high precursor selection in the quadrupole (up to 25,000 m/z) and simultaneous charge state detection.
